Thinking In Pictures
As a fine art photographer, I have spent decades building a body of work that blends documentary, portraiture, and fine art photography. Like many artists, I believe it is essential to find ways to share one’s vision with a wider audience, especially in times when art has the power to address the pressing issues of our day.
Working with Maciek at Magik World was a rare gift. Together, we created a short but powerful video, Thinking in Pictures, which beautifully captures not only my approach to making images but also the deeper intentions behind my work.
The process itself was as meaningful as the outcome. Sitting side by side through much of the editing, I found our conversations and Maciek’s thoughtful approach to be nothing short of cathartic. He listened deeply, asked insightful questions, and shaped the narrative in ways that illuminated my core themes of empathy, spirituality, and resilience.
The resulting video reflects the beauty, justice, and hope that I strive to carry through my photographs. I am deeply grateful to Maciek for his artistry, sensitivity, and generosity of spirit.
