Howard Immel, Inc. hired us for Dr. Eric Larson’s Ambulatory Surgery Center project in Oshkosh, WI. We completed a major portion of our scope of work, yet they have not paid us anything — even though they’ve already been paid by their customer for the work we performed.
We are owed over $226,000 in completed work and change orders. Instead of paying, Immel blocked site access, ignored change orders, and imposed delays and unreasonable demands. To make matters worse, their superintendent, Scott Guyer, screamed, yelled, and swore at us while demanding we perform work that was never part of our contract.
This conduct is unprofessional, abusive, and harmful not only to our company but also to the success of Dr. Larson’s project. Based on our experience, we strongly caution others against doing business with Howard Immel, Inc.
