Mr Jon Hendershot was unhelpful, condescending and arrogant
Mr Jon Hendershot did not give me constructive information. He was fine when I told him that what he had done was helpful, but after a few days when his treatment stopped working, and my pain returned, I had questions, and he became condescending and arrogant, and did not answer all my questions.
An example is that when asking about where to put ice, he said, "Where it hurts." My pain is referred pain, and not where the inflammation is, so I kept asking the question trying to understand why I was not told to put the ice where there was inflammation. He finally told me to "put it wherever I wished," and I was too nice to respond to that.
I asked about how to limit movement, and he told me I had no restrictions, contrary to everything I read about caring for my diagnosis. I later learned that his specialties do not include the area where I was having pain.
I have more examples but will stop here.
I have never before had a problem with any OrthoCarolina medical staff, so I am quite disappointed in my experience with Mr Hendershot.
