Figshare and Digital Science are very dangerous businesses and should not be trusted. They advertise that they protect your data, but that is untrue. They removed over 100 of my scientific papers without cause. They stole my DOI's and did not return them. Why is that dangerous to you. If they steal your DOI then they have stolen the strongest method of copywrite proof. For example they can remove your paper and DOI and cancel it. Then they can have a "buddy" steal your paper and pre-date their paper. For your own protection, I suggest that you use a different repository.
