Review Cameron & Darren Should Be Avoided
I hired Cameron and Darren through Moving Help for a two-hour job, and it turned into one of the worst moving experiences I’ve ever had.
They showed up about 20 minutes early, but instead of using the time productively, they rushed through the work and were gone in less than 45 minutes. I paid for two hours, but they gave me less than half that effort. Even worse, they copied the payment code from my text message before I even had the chance to confirm or review the job. That move alone felt deceptive and dishonest.
As for the work itself — it was sloppy and incomplete. They loaded a couch, a couple of chairs, and table legs, but left the cushions and the table top behind. They even left some of my belongings sitting in the storage shelter instead of putting them on the truck. It was clear they had absolutely no concept of proper load optimization — items were placed haphazardly with no thought to space, balance, or protecting my things.
I ended up with unfinished work, wasted time, and the strong feeling I had just been scammed. These two were not professional movers in any sense of the word.
I called Cameron after they left at (504)291-5972 but he was not interested, when I told him about items they were supposed to load his comment was, “I have pictures.” Which if anyone were to actually look at the pictures they would see how little either knows about moving.
If you are considering hiring Cameron and Darren through Moving Help, do yourself a huge favor and avoid them completely. This was nothing but a rip-off and a headache.
