I purchased Entropy’s radiator based on their bold guarantee that it would keep my high-output BBC Chevelle cool—even in extreme conditions. I made it clear from the start: this car runs AC, sees real highway miles, and lives in Arizona, where ambient temps routinely hit 110°F+. They assured me their system was up to the task.
It wasn’t.
Despite premium components, proper install, and extensive testing—including datalogging MAT, ECT, and IAT—I experienced repeated overheating with AC on, especially at idle and low-speed cruise. I validated fan polarity, airflow direction, shroud efficiency, and even fabricated custom brackets to optimize flow. Still, the system couldn’t hold temp under load in desert heat.
I modeled boiling point math, pressure ratings, and ignition timing effects. I burped the system, vacuum-filled it, and ran controlled tests. The radiator simply couldn’t reject enough heat to keep the engine stable. When I escalated with data, Entropy deflected—no root cause analysis, no accountability, just vague suggestions and silence.
Bottom line: if you’re building for real-world reliability in high ambient conditions, this radiator isn’t it. The guarantee didn’t hold, and I’m left chasing cooling solutions while my family waits for a car that won’t strand us on the way to a show.
