Consultation with Dr Eric Stanelle (08/20/2025)
I met with Dr Eric Stanelle on 08/20/2025 for a Consultation. We had discussed my potential Laparoscopic Gallbladder removal/Biopsy within the very near future. During this discussion, Dr Stanelle had also mentioned that while he was reviewing my Patient Chart/Records (prior to my Consultation today) he noticed some pretty concerning issues going on with my Heart, more recently as well. That being said, Dr Stanelle decided that we'd go ahead & get this Gallbladder Procedure all setup, however, his team would be reaching out to my Cardiology Team as well, to have a discussion with them as to whether or not they feel that my Heart situation should trump this Gallbladder situation or not. I love that Dr Stanelle is "on top of his game" & that he's able to focus on the bigger picture & to see ALL things potentially involved "BEFORE" he moves forward with doing any Procedure/Surgery. This is a perfect example of a Dr that is looking out for his patient's best interest with making sure that their health & safety come first & foremost. In addition to the above-mentioned, he also has a fantastic sense of humor ~ love that! I've had Dr Stanelle for several Colonoscopies in the past & he did a great job with those. I TRUST HIM as a Doctor and as a Surgeon. It's pretty important to have that "trust/bond" with a Surgeon before being "put under" to complete any Procedure/Surgery!
