Sexual Assult
My family and I had been loyal customers of Lavender's since 2015 and always appreciated the quality of the massages and the friendly staff--until something deeply disturbing happened in 2024.
During a massage that year, I was sexually assaulted by one of the therapists employed at the spa. I immediately reported the incident to both the manager and the owner. Instead of support or accountability, I was met with defensiveness. They dismissed my concerns, offered excuses on behalf of the therapist, and repeatedly said, "He didn't mean anything by what he did." There was no apology, no investigation, and no acknowledgment of the seriousness of what had occurred.
After filing a police report, I learned this same therapist had been involved in a similar incident with another client just six months earlier--yet Lavender's chose to keep employing him. That decision put clients in serious danger in a setting that should feel safe and professional.
I also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. The BBB contacted Lavender's multiple times, but they never responded.
I'm sharing this review to urge potential clients to proceed with caution. No one should experience what I did, and no business should ignore reports of misconduct this severe.
