Brought in 2 cats. Prepaid as I'm new client. They weighed both cats and did THE worst "exam" I've ever seen. Checked heart and got weight. That was it. Didn't take temperature. Didn't check in mouth (which is so very important after losing a cat from oral cancer). I told the vet I've had him away from treats and he doesn't eat a crazy amount of food so I know he's not round because of fat, I suspect hypothyroidism. Without skipping a beat the vet started talking about prescription diet and after that I just shut down. He obviously wasn't listening to me that knew this cat for a decade and he knew him for 5 minutes.
He finally offered a blood panel. I accepted. Not only did he put it under the other cat's name, I had to tell him at least twice to go ahead with the blood panel. He was just staring off into space. Finally vet tech took cat away and said it would be 15 minutes. I waited at least 20 minutes and no cat. Gathered other cat and went to front desk to have everything stopped and bring me my cat. Come to find out, they didn't even draw any blood. They had my cat in some back room for 20 minutes or so and did nothing. Then they had the nerve to keep the prepaid amount for both cats when they didn't even examine the second one (only weighed). Do your pets a favor, and yourself...go elsewhere.
