When we discovered water on our kitchen floor on a Saturday morning, we looked for plumbers that could be reached on weekends. We had been very pleased in the past by work done by Gunther Plumbing so we called their phone number. Under the name of Gunther Plumbing/a.k.a housecallpro.com (same phone number for both) we called to get an emergency plumber. At around 8 AM, we were told that one would be dispatched soon, and would call to let us know when he was arriving.
As we battled the water spreading over our kitchen floor, we couldn't wait for the plumber. We kept the phone in hand and even watched the road, but no one called or arrived. After 4 hours, we called them again, and they said they were very busy but one of their techs would soon contact us.
After 7 hours, we called again to say their business hours would be over soon, but no one had contacted us.
The receptionist (Felicia?) said she would send Travis out immediately.
But he never came, and we were never contacted.
Nearly all my reviews of other companies have been glowingly full of praise and a pat on the back, but Gunther Plumbing/ housecallpro.com is one of the worst companies we have ever contacted. Don't be tricked by the phone number--same for both/
Avoid them, and avoid disappointment.
