Hired through U-Haul for moving help on July 31, 2025. Booked TWO movers for $210—THREE showed up and forced me to pay an extra $180 via Cash App, outside the U-Haul platform. I provided a dolly, hand truck, moving blankets, and clearly labeled boxes. They ignored all of it. It poured rain for 3 hours, and they didn’t use blankets to protect anything.
The result? $2,900 in damages: water-ruined fabric headboard and area rug, ripped sofa cushions, punctured box spring, and a marble Bombay chest with a gouged drawer and chips. They dumped everything in the wrong rooms and were beyond careless. When I contacted the owner with photo proof, he accused me of lying and said he had no liability insurance. Unprofessional, dishonest, and totally unaccountable. Avoid this company at all costs.
