### Still Waiting for My Key After 5 Weeks
I'm writing this review in the hope of getting some resolution to an ongoing issue. On **July 1, 2025**, I went to Key Kopy in Mechanicsville to have a new car key and remote made. The key was cut that day, and I paid **$60** for that service. I was told the remote needed to be ordered and that I'd be contacted when it arrived. The plan was to pay for the remote once it was in.
On **July 8th**, after not hearing anything, I called for an update. I spoke with David, who informed me that the remote had not been ordered yet, but that he would place the order that same day.
Unfortunately, it's now **August 8th**, and I still haven't received any communication. It has been five weeks since my initial visit and a month since I was promised the order would be placed. I'm getting concerned because I have an out-of-state move coming up soon.
The most frustrating part is that David is holding the key I already paid for. I am completely stuck waiting for the remote to arrive. The initial service was fine, but the lack of follow-up and communication has been incredibly disappointing. At this point, I just want the key I paid for and the remote I ordered so I can finalize this process.
