Araphoe county is terrible. I have contacted them multiple regarding a neighbor who continues to leave dog out to bark with no water or shelter. This has gone on for at least two years. I have spoken to neighbor and written notes. Even hoa has asked her to get doggy door so dog can go in when it is to hot to be out. Today it was 97 degrees out with no water or shelter and left out for an hour. What is wrong with people! Don’t have a dog if you can treat them with respect. SUPPOSEDLY they are going out tomorrow to see if there is water or shelter. Excuse me I can see their yard from my yard. I thought animal control was to protect animals from abuse. I haven’t seen it. I hope that changes.
