Bartender/Manager was drunker than the patrons!
I am writing to express my extreme disappointment regarding a recent visit to T & M Lanes on August 1, 2025. My family (my husband, our 15-year-old son, my 21-year-old nephew, and his 19-year-old girlfriend) and I had an incredibly unsettling experience with a bartender who later identified herself as the manager.
While I've previously enjoyed T & M Lanes for its reasonable pricing and pleasant atmosphere, this visit has completely changed my perception. The bartender was visibly intoxicated and continuously intruded upon our family time. She repeatedly approached us while we were bowling, telling unrelated stories with slurred speech, making us feel very awkward and uncomfortable.
Hoping to avoid her, we moved to the game room, but her behavior only escalated. She continued to follow us, attempting to join our activities and even physically displacing my nephew from a ping pong game to play with my son. We never invited her to join us, and her persistence created a very strange and uncomfortable environment.
When I finally asked her to leave us alone so I could play with my son, she remained friendly but was clearly getting more intoxicated and annoyed that she couldn’t play. I did express my concerns to the desk attendant as we were leaving.
To make matters worse, shortly after we pulled out of the parking lot, I received a call from my nephew who was also leaving and had been stopped and confronted by the bartender. She came outside yelling and asking who I was and where I was.
This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable for any business. The experience ruined our family outing, and I will not be recommending or returning to T & M Lanes as long as this individual is employed there.
