I had high hopes after my initial appointment with Dr. Miriam Kravitz, which was professional and utilized impressive dermatology imaging technology. Unfortunately, follow-up visits with Jessica felt rushed, cold, and transactional. During one visit, I arrived 10 minutes late due to road construction and was reprimanded, despite it being a brief 15-minute appointment. That interaction left me tearful and angry—and was documented as such in my medical record, which felt deeply insensitive and stigmatizing. The clinic had the choice to either see me or not, but scolding a patient isn’t professional. Later, when my insurance changed, they simply canceled a long-standing appointment without contacting me first. I expected more empathy, respect, and communication from a healthcare provider. I am seeking care at another practice.
