GREEDY
My husband and I financed a travel trailer from OECU in 2017. In 2019 due to several family deaths back to back we became financial unable to make the payments. We tried to negotiate a lower payment so we could afford to live. OECU had absolutely no compassion. They wanted their money! They reposed the trailer. They were able to sell it for almost what was left on the loan. The balance was $3500 . They tried during covid to get us to make payments on the remaining amount. My husband worked n the oil and gas industry so he lost his job. Need less to say the placed a judgement for the balance. My husband recently was diagnosed with a terminal illness. The doctors told us to get his affairs in order. There is no life insurance policy. We just have our home. In the process of refinancing the home to possible get some money to bury my husband we discovered the judgement. I asked if they would take half of the judgement and release it so I could move forward. They turned us down. They would rather have $3500 and not help a dying man and his family! That just screams GREEDY!! Do your self a favor and don't use this bank the don't care about people just their money!! If you have some hardships come your way they will not blink an eye to repose's or place a judgement on you!!!!! I have worked in customer service for 30 years and this is not how you do business!! read less
