PARNALL LAW FIRM PARNALL LAW FIRM Reviews 10

I tripped on some broken flooring in my apartment ...

I tripped on some broken flooring in my apartment and broke my ankle causing me to fall. As I was falling I tried to grab onto a chair we have and the chair bottom hit my shin breaking my Tibia and Fibula breaking both. I had to have emergency surgery and am confined to a wheelchair for at hopefully just another week but could be a lot longer. The surgery was on May 2nd and I was in the hospital for Instead of filing an incident report or even asking if I was ok, our apartments decided to file for an eviction. I contacted a few attorneys who just simply said the case was not for them. Then I contacted Berts office. They said yes it was a case worth taking and started the process. They were phenomenal in the beginning, Drew Larkin and Adrian were very informative and they sent a demand letter to the apartments right away. I did however write up and post a gofundme while in the hospital 4 days post surgery. I mentioned what we thought caused the accident at the time but still had no idea what the actual cause was. Adrian said that this raised a way for the defense to object but said it was a very weak objection and could be overcome. A few weeks went by and I was updating Adrian with information as we obtained it. Nearly a month into the case I received an email that my case was transferred to a new attorney hired by the firm named Tom Tedeschi. Mr Tedeschi never once reached out to introduce himself or give any updates but Adrian still kept up with me. Once we had moved out of the apartment the property management came in and completely remodeled the entire flooring in the apartment. Mr Tedeschi supposedly sent a letter putting the apartments on notice that doing so went against the initial letter demanding the apartments do not touch anything to preserve evidence. The following day however he sent me and the apartments a letter stating that Parnall law would no longer be representing me as a client. Mr. Tedeschi then called me for the first time ever to let me know this and stated that it was a conflict of ethics since I wrote the gofundme and the firm did not know of this even though it was brought to their attention 45 days or so prior. It seems to me that Mr Tedeschi is just looking for a few slam dunk cases out of the gate to impress his new boss but me that the whole add campaign of "We will fight for you" is not what will actually take place. I would highly recommend looking for another law firm that has the actual guts to keep going when there is the slightest objection brought up. Especially one that can easily be argued that a statement in a social media post made 4 days post surgery is not a medical fact as the person who made the statement is in fact not a medical professional.
