Again how many times?
Again after Northumbria police are chasing cars an accident occurs and most unfortunately 2 deaths. Last time the whole North East was closed down for 12 hours as the A1 was closed and disruption for hundreds of thousands of people leading to having to scrap 5 police cars at great cost. This time because of a police chase 2 deaths. Is it really necessary in all cases to chase criminals when it leads to extreme and reckless driving to escape the police? Would this occur if you were not chasing them? Northumbria police are not interested in mundane crime like house burglary or shoplifting, just try and get them to do anything but as soon as a car chase or a raid they turn up on mass to get involved.
