Doesn't even meet basic safety needs
BSKA bought the Montessori school our kids go to and it's immediately been a disaster. The prior owner notified us on July 4th, and then we received no information from the new owners for over a week. I just dropped my kids off to find that the usually pristine facility was just covered with filth on the floor. Like someone had just dumped dirt and trash around. A teacher was trying to clean it up, because apparently the owners had just left it that way over the weekend for the old teachers to deal with unexpectedly before the parents arrive.
The new owners are rarely there and when you ask when they'll be there, you get this vague "we're here whenever we can!". When they are there, they skulk in this back room area where you can't see them but they can hear what you say to the prior staff. They're just... listening in but refusing to actually communicate.
They're also changed things that didn't need changing to the point that it just seems like a power trip -- like no teachers have a chair where they can sit down for a second except one, hard, dining room style chair.
The final straw was that there were plastic bags left around in the trash. They talk "safety safety safety" but are leaving dangerous choking hazards left around toddlers? Filth on the floor where babies are learning to crawl?
This isn't even an issue of "I just don't like their non-montessori style." This isn't a safe place any more.
