In 2024 I found my old boss obituary .Joseph L Cummings Jr he died in 2023 in Minnipolis Kansas. His wife Helen Cummings died in 1991. They have a joint headstone in Pinecrest. His side of the stone has his name and date of birth but no date of death. I called Pinecrest. I gave them the information.They said there is nothing they can do until a relative makes the request and pays for the date to be added!! You know J.L. or Helen prepaid for that service. A year has past . I just looked at the stone no date of death. Pathetic!
