Incompetent, lazy, or unethical appraiser
John Wyatt of Horizon Appraisal did an appraisal on our house using unrelated properties that were very obviously not comparable in location or build quality. When our real estate agent brought this to his attention he refused to rectify his mistake.
He is either profoundly incompetent, lazy, or unethical. Given that he refused to use more accurate comparison properties when his error was pointed out to him, without even giving a good excuse, it makes me think he is unethical.
