No Compassion Shown During Medical Emergency
I’ve generally been satisfied with my studies at Greenwich; however, I was very disappointed with how my recent request regarding a late fee was handled.
Due to a serious medical condition (an ACL rupture) that resulted in unexpected health expenses and mobility challenges, I was unable to make a payment on time. Despite providing full medical documentation and a genuine explanation, my request for a late fee waiver of AU$100 was strictly denied.
I understand that policies exist for a reason, but a complete lack of flexibility or compassion in exceptional situations like this is disheartening — especially for international students who often face unique challenges.
I hope Greenwich considers revisiting how they treat such cases in the future.
