Review Title: Infuriating Experience – Avoid American Eagle Towing
I’ve never been so baffled by the lack of professionalism shown by a roadside assistance provider. American Eagle Towing in South Los Angeles was dispatched through AAA, and what followed was truly outrageous. The technician arrived, immediately criticized my husband for not patching the tire earlier, and then proceeded to silently record our trunk, tires, and tools—without explanation, consent, or basic courtesy. Then he got back in his vehicle and took off. No goodbye. No assistance. No communication. Just vanished.
To make matters worse, AAA later read back the technician’s version of events as if it were fact. He claimed he offered air for the tires and that my husband refused. Not true. He also said he asked my husband to remove tools because the truck was too heavy—again, false. NONE of that happened.
The technician’s attitude was dismissive, rude, and completely unfit for customer service. If this is who AAA trusts to represent their standards, it’s alarming. I highly recommend anyone dealing with American Eagle Towing to record the entire encounter, because apparently AAA relies on their technician’s word no matter how inaccurate it may be. Don’t let your truth be overwritten by fabricated notes.
Do better, AAA. And American Eagle—train your staff.
