I contacted Camping World of Richmond (Indiana) to inquire about financing on a travel trailer. I requested a breakdown of the loan terms (APR, monthly payment, out-the-door price).
The dealership refused to provide this information unless I submitted a photo of my driver's license, even though I had already completed a credit application elsewhere through the same dealership chain. They ignored my rights under the Truth in Lending Act to review the terms before proceeding.
After I mentioned the law, they stopped replying altogether.
This appears to be a bait-and-switch tactic and violates fair lending transparency standards.
