Do not trust Ortho Ga with your health.
I went to Ortho Georgia to have a cyst removed from my wrist, and I left with nerve damage in my entire left arm. I was given a nerve block for the cyst removal. The nerve damage changed my life completely. The damage was so bad that I required surgery at Emory in Atlanta roughly 4 months after my visit to Ortho Ga. This should never happen.
After seeing me for several months, Dr Floyd at Ortho GA told me that my condition was inoperative. He was my surgeon for the cyst removal. He did not perform the nerve block.
I did not listen to his advice as I did not believe his assessment was correct. I knew I was getting worse and told him that. I had parts of my arm that I could not feel, and what I could feel was a burning sensation in my ring and pinkie finger. This sensation was very painful.
7 days after Dr. Floyd told me that my condition was inoperative, a doctor at Emory told me if I didn't have surgery that I would eventually lose full function of my hand. I was told I had a "poor" prognosis without surgery. All of this came from me asking Ortho GA to remove a cyst from my left wrist.
From my experience, I don't believe Ortho GA actually cared for my well-being at all after the procedure didn't go as planned, and I certainly don't believe I got their best effort in helping me. In my opinion, this was something they should have fixed. Instead, they let someone else fix my arm and restore the quality of life I had before visiting Ortho Georgia.
