Great start, lousy finish
Airpets International promised great service, assisted with the coordination between pet immigration and my veterinarian and answered all my questions. I was impressed. On flight day after I was already in the air the airline shipping my 4 pers decided it was too hot for them, even though it was the same temperature as the day previous when they were checked in and cleared to fly. They were boarded for the weekend, new vet visit as their health certificate expired, driven to Atlanta and boarded until the next available flight. Then the (same) airline forgot to load them on the plane, even though they were checked in on time. They were boarded again. In the end what was promised to be 2 days and $6500 took 2 weeks and cost $10,000. They lost all of my original vet records as well as my cats’ collars, tags, and AirTags. They said they’d file claims with the airline but now they won’t return my emails. Use at your own risk. In the end it would have been not much more expensive to charter a plane. We could have all travelled together and brought lots more personal belongings.
