Took My Money – Still No Refund
I paid Protek Innovations, LLC a deposit of $3,980.62 on November 18, 2024, for a full roof replacement at my rental property in Detroit, MI. They only completed a small roof patch around a leak (which they valued at $800), but never started the actual roof replacement job.
After I canceled the project, they promised I’d receive a refund minus the $800 for the patchwork and said they would waive the cancellation fee. Months have passed, and I still haven’t received any refund.
I’ve called, texted, and emailed multiple times. Kimberly said to talk to Chris, Chris said Kimberly would contact me. It’s been nothing but a frustrating runaround. I’ve been patient, but their complete lack of follow-through and accountability is unacceptable. Kimberly either makes excuses or ignores my messages entirely.
This company took my money and continues to make excuses. That’s not just unprofessional—it’s dishonest. Avoid Protek Innovations unless you’re okay with the risk of losing your deposit and getting strung along.
