My experience at this healthcare facility has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing, easily ranking as one of the worst I've encountered. The process of obtaining a simple referral proved to be an exercise in futility, dragging on for a staggering four months. Despite my diligent weekly calls, progress was nonexistent, hampered by their restrictive policy of only referring to doctors they recommend. To add insult to injury, the doctor they ultimately referred me to contradicted previous diagnoses from two other physicians, claiming I didn't have cataracts. Furthermore, I was informed that Chen Medical doctors have ceased prescribing Ozempic due to unsubstantiated safety concerns, limiting my treatment options based on their internal policies. In stark contrast, upon seeking care elsewhere, I secured a referral to a doctor of my choosing in a mere two days, highlighting the inefficiency and lack of patient agency that defines this healthcare facility.
