Unsafe hostile living environment
I wish there was no stars i moved to this apartment complex from a domestic shelter due to family issues and abuse going on so far i have literally been violated for having my child play in our backyard that I thought i pay to have him play that was my first write up and then i was threatened with eviction because I have my fionce visit me and his child and they try to bully me all the time the maintenance man tim Screamed and cussed at me because I was throwing a unsafe toddler bed to the dumpster and he qoute was screaming that if he sees me put anything in there one more gawddamn time he was going to have my ass i tried explaining to him that was literally the biggest item that i put in the dumpster and he said that he didn’t give a fuck that him and office manager jennifer zimmerman from red oak management was going to pin all bulk items being put in the dumpster on me and was just extremely combative well I had been in the hospital on may the 25th due to high blood pressure and preclamsia and had to be induced so i was in the hospital from may 25th-june 1st i almost didn't get out so the father of my children/ fiance had to stay with our 3 year old while i wasin the hospital so on wendsday i sent a message to the supervisors of red oak management worker who is my apartment manager Made a false police report she called law enforcement the day after i got home because she supposedly heard yelling up in my apartment 6 cops showed up in the meantime because she reported she heard us hitting our son and needed the cops to do a wellness check because i was breastfeeding our daughter my son was throwing Stuff at us so like any parent would he yelled at our son and that apperntly they seen us doing stuff but we were upstairs in our bedroom and lucky we had my brother in the apartment to attest we we're not hurting our children later that day i went into the office manager with someone else on the phone and I told them that from now on i wouldn't be speaking with them unless i had a witness.. the maintenance man said "you go right tge fuck ahead because we will just call the police on you" i said ah yeah that's abuse of a 911 call and he said"i don't give a shit you are threatening us with other people and started walking twords me and his face was red I looked at him and said tim im not in here to talk to you so you can just shut up and keep your mouth shut im here to talk to my apartment manager last i checked you fix toilets so be quiet....also
there are meth addicts everywhere people's kids are almost hit on a daily basis because office manager doesn't enforce the speed limit they styrofoam sprayed the door wells and painted over them to make them look like it was real wood, and it hadn’t been rotted out the lights and the electricity are really spotty in my apartment very dangerous because they pop in spark the refrigerator makes noise at all times of the day because it barely works. It works enough to keep my stuff cold but everything in my refrigerator goes bad after two days of me having it in my fridge because the fridge is not adequate enough the stove is sparking one of the times it sparked and lit on fire for absolutely no reason and when I moved into my apartment, there was a bunch of stuff in the heater vents that the maintenance man didn’t clean out and when I tried to report it, he came in and he looked at me and he said I’m not cleaning them out and I’m not doing anything that’s on this work order have a good day and he walked back out of my apartment so if you don’t want a slum apartment, I suggest that you stay away from this apartment complex. Also the fact that they claim that they’re low income, but you have to pay a $250 deposit to the water company and you pay water sewer heat electric everything that you pay for a house you pay for your apartment here, not low income, just basically under low income….. if anything else was available i would move out in a heartbeat this place is a joke and it is all due to the new owners who let this continue to happen REDOAK MANAGEMENT in cedar springs Michigan the only way to live nicely there is if u kiss their butts im not a butt kisser never have been i was also given violations several on my decorations for holidays apparently u can’t have that here so if you like to decorate your apartment for Christmas or any other holiday, I suggest you don’t move here because you’ll get evicted. If you have decorations I have plenty of proof to show that office staff bullies their tenants and that if you report it to her superior, she acts like a little girl and throws a temper tantrum and writes everybody up for everything one of the recent things that I was written up for was a flower pot that had been there before I had lived there for at least four years, but I got violated for having it and right after that I contacted her superiors. Right after that, I got a write up stating that I was going to be evicted from my apartment if I didn’t pay my rent, they don’t take rent at the office so you have to send it in the mail and sometimes I can’t send anything out into the mail because I’m on Social Security disability so there’s only certain times where I get my money and I send out the money order And it doesn’t get there in time so I’m constantly getting violation in the mail stating that I didn’t pay my rent even though it’s on their way to them every time that it gets sent to me that I’m going to get evicted please do not live here if you have children it is just not safe It’s not safe for adults and it’s not safe for people. Even the police told me to call them anytime that I have to have them people in my home or have to speak to them that I should probably get a piece officer, considering the fact that they are always retaliating against me. I was instructed by a police officer at the Shelby sheriff department that because of the maintenance man being so combative that they feel for my safety that I need to have someone with me at all times or have a police officer come to my apartment if the maintenance man needs to do any repairs which is really sad because the maintenance man was claiming that law-enforcement was on their side until I showed law-enforcement my ring camera where they were standing talking about giving me extra violations talking about how that should get me out of my apartment, etc.
