Substandard Unauthorized Cut
May 16th, 2025: BEWARE!
I had invested five years in a going silver grow-out to the middle of the back length.
As a first-time client, I directed Twila to keep the length to two inches below my shoulders, a straight blunt cut of the back and sides, a feathered cut on top near my face, and create a top V area on the right side to stop the long hair drag, which was expected to be a grauated blend with the part showing as on the left side.
Twila, a Stylist for “28 years”, cut above not below my shoulders, it is collarbone length, then cut short layers like thinning which layered all through out the back and side, and alongside face, plus the ends are not even at all, the ends are oddly finely cut layers, like edge of a new broom. The back has odd shorter under layers that make it split above the collar, left/right. A mess! It is impossible to control or keep the clips or hair from slipping out. `Altered` is an appropriate name.
It will take a long time to grow out before my hairstyle can be restructured!
This cut shames stylists who have pride in their craft!
Twila Williams in La Center ruined my trust and ritual joy in Ladies Day at the salon, did an unauthorized cut, below the normal professional standard!
Tip: Be sure you are facing the mirror, and not distracted by stylists chatting.
Due Diligence, I only found the good reviews when I decided on Altered Image.
Let me fix that!
