They are at it again.
They are at it again. I just received my water bill for May. It was due two days ago, and they plan to charge me $18 more because my bill has not been paid by the due date. Do they send the bills out late on purpose? I can avoid this if I give them total access to my checking account and let them zap the amount due each month. I don't think they should be able to gain extra funds this way. I drive my bill to the post office and mail it the day I get it, but it will take about three or four days for them to get it. Seems to me, they need to mail their bills out on time like the rest of the utilities do. This is pure theft.
