I would not recommend Casas Ambiente real estate agency under any circumstances to handle the sale of your property. Our experience has been extremely disappointing, marked by a lack of professionalism, insufficient information, and a clear disregard when problems arose.
We entrusted them with the sale of our house, and at first, everything seemed to be going well: some buyers, through a collaborating agency, showed interest and signed a reservation contract with a deposit of €5,000, setting a deadline for signing the earnest money contract. Throughout this process, we provided all the requested documentation. However, despite meeting the deadlines and informing them in advance that we would be on vacation, Casas Ambiente unjustifiably delayed sending the earnest money contract, only sending it on the very day the deadline expired.
Additionally, they asked us to grant the buyers more time due to a note on the property registry report that had no impact on the property (this had already been clarified weeks earlier and had no implications for the title deed). When we expressed our disagreement and refused to accept further delays, the agency completely abandoned us. Their only “solution” was to suggest that we contact the buyers’ lawyers directly to try to recover only half of the deposit, effectively washing their hands of their responsibility as intermediaries.
Despite a phone call from the agency’s owner to apologize, during which we were still blamed for the situation, their response was clearly insufficient.
In short, Casas Ambiente has demonstrated poor management, a lack of transparency, and, most seriously, a complete disinterest in defending their clients’ interests when problems arise. I would not recommend their services to anyone looking for a serious, responsible, and committed real estate agency.
