Watkins Towing
On the 26 March 2025 my Chrysler 200 broke down on the highway. We contacted Watkins towing, and they came out and picked the vehical up. I had them deliver it to my mechanic in Kernersville. I met him there to get the key from him. When he disconnected the tow truck, I noticed the forks under the car hung up a little. I paid no attention at the time. I was trying to get the car running because my grand kid needs it to go to work. When I picked the car up and drove it home, I heard a noise. I looked under the car and noticed the splash guard and inner wheel well were damaged. I called Watkins towing and explained what happened and sent pictures. I asked them how this was going to be resolved. I started looking for a body shop to get this fixed because I couldn't wait on them. I needed the car for my grandson's work. I sent Watkins the estimate of what it would cost 689.99 dollars. I told the body shop to repair it, and I paid out of my own pocket. I sent the final bill and pictures of the repair to Watkins towing. I was told by text that they would take care of the bill. I text them my name address, so they knew where to mail the check. I got a call from the owner or boss from Watkins that he would send the check. when he tried to tell me where he should send it, I was worried since I sent him all that information. This was 2 weeks ago so I'm thinking he's had a change of heart. I would suggest to the public if you have a low to the ground vehical you call someone else. I have all the text from this company and receipts which I will try to add to the photos. I will also write to the BBB to see how this company got bonded and insured if they are.
