Bad business experthands inc
I was contacted by this company they wanted to know if I would be willing to go to clovis new mexico and repair a door at two locations . O'Reilly auto parts and att phone company.. we agreed to make the trip . My very small business Draggers Handyman Service is located in shallowater texas. I was told I would receive $100 travel and plus payments for work completed at site.
I showed up at O'Reilly auto parts first. I was escorted to the back where there door was unable to open. After assessment I called the agent for experthands inc. Zane and told him what it would take to repair or in this case replace the door and hinges . I was asked if I could do a temporary repair to just make the door open and close. I told yes but I didn't know how long it would hold up and recommend replacement. I was told to do the temporary repair and agreed to $400 to do so. I sent video and pictures plus the manager spoke with Zane letting him know he was very happy with the condition of the Temporary repair. I talked to Zane and he told me he could t pay me $400 dollars that was to much money. I reminded him that we agreed to the $400 . He said I can only give you $250. I not happy about the situation agreed to the 250$ for the repair at O'Reilly. Just to stop any drawn out payment or non payment issues.
I was then asked to go to the att store for another door issue. When assessment was complete I called Zane and sent pictures explained that thi is a job that would take a full day because the frame was the issue. He asked if I would temporary repair this door . I told him there is no temporary fix for this door. He again tried telling me to do something with the door today. I explained to him it will take a full day to repair the issue. He asked how much for the job. I told him my company has a 200$ minimum service charge and that was what I was charging for the assessment. He said no that I didn't do any work that he won't paying anything. I explained to him that I assest the issue and gave you the information on how it can be repaired. That was the service that I gave to him. He then said he was giving .e 100$ to do that. He was referring to the travel money.
This company experthands inc. Clearly was and is aware of the contract that was made and refuses to make payment. They don't answer my calls or text msg.thry didn't even repay me for the materials that I used at O'Reilly. This puts my very small business in the red for the day as we lost money on the trip. This puts a hardship on my business. Not only did I lose money for my services but I also putting time in trying to get paid and writing reviews. I will never do business with this company again. I recomend not doing business with experthands inc.to everyone. If you decide to do any business with them dont complain when they dont hold up there end of your contract. I am writing this to save all businesses from falling victim to this company and there shady ways of business.
