Toxic Community!! As the father of a student, I feel compelled to speak out about the serious issues I’ve had with this studio.
The environment is completely undisciplined and disorganized. There’s little to no structure, and the lack of professional standards is obvious. Worse than that, the studio promotes toxic ideals: perfection over progress, appearance over ability, and criticism over encouragement. Young dancers are pushed to meet unrealistic standards that damage confidence and fuel insecurity — not foster talent or self-expression. This is on top of paying time and time again for costly dresses that are poorly made.
This place doesn’t prioritize healthy growth or artistic development. It’s more about control, image, and ego. If you care about your child’s emotional well-being and want a studio that actually supports learning and confidence, look elsewhere.
