Disputed Report Raises Questions About Accuracy
I recently worked as a cleaning contractor on a property inspected by Charleston Inventories. We delivered what we considered a thorough end-of-tenancy clean, supported by time-stamped photo and video evidence. However, the inventory report contained claims—particularly about the washing machine—that we dispute based on our documentation.
When we raised these concerns, we found the response dismissive and final, with no willingness to engage meaningfully with the evidence we provided. This experience has raised serious questions for us about the objectivity and accountability of this company.
While Charleston Inventories presents itself as independent and unbiased, our experience has not reflected that. We are pursuing the matter through the AIIC and would caution others—landlords, tenants, and agencies alike—to carefully verify all claims made in reports and maintain their own documentation.
