I was snookered, deceived, fooled, and misled. I did my research on this company and Loren Miles convinced me, after my driving over 1 hour to get to his shop, and after seeing the antique chair which was broken in many places, that he could not only repair the chair but that tape marks would be removed, glued connections and dings would be filled and sanded, and that the chair would be refinished. After picking up the chair and paying for the work, when my son took the chair out of the car and into the sunlight, we found that the chair was glued but has glue overruns, the tape marks are still on the chair, glued connections were not cleaned nor filled, and stain that did not match was sparsely used on the back of the seat of the chair. I now have to find an antique furniture refinisher and pay additional money to clean the tape marks and the glue off, fill the repaired areas and sand them, and then refinish the chair. This is part of a 95 year old dining room set. Loren's comments--he never said that he would refinish the chair. He called me "absolutely ridiculous" and "You are the problem! And I will clearly point that out everywhere I can!" "You are the one who along with being confused has completely unrealistic expectations." DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. You will not get what you think you paid for.
