Consensus will send a bill to you immediately following an office visit, before your Insurance has had a chance to process payment for the visit. In my case, I received a bill for triple my normal Copay. I paid it too avoid credit issues, and found that my Insurance company takes 2 to 3 weeks to process the visit.
**CONSENSUS IS KNOWINGLY GETTING PAID TWICE**
If this happens to you DO NOT PAY CONSENSUS until your insurance provider issues you your Explanation of Benefits. If you paid like me, take your EOB to the Consensus office and demand payment.
