TO CLIENTS AND OWNERS WORKING WITH INNKEEPER
We, as property owners in Portugal, hereby bring to attention a grave concern regarding Innkeeper, a property management company based in Lisbon, and its Director, Joao Alves. Despite repeated requests and formal notices, Innkeeper has failed to remit rental revenues to us since August 2024. When gathering information on the solvability of Innkeeper, we discover that other owners are facing the same issues. Owner comments are posted in Google and Facebook.
This egregious breach of contractual obligations and fiduciary duties has resulted in significant financial losses for us and potentially other affected parties. We have made numerous attempts to communicate with Innkeeper and its Director, but our efforts have been met with empty promises and a lack of substantive action.
Is Innkeeper experiencing cash flow difficulties,? But, this does not justify the unauthorized use of clients' funds. Such actions constitute unlawful enrichment and are punishable under Portuguese law.
We urge all affected parties to seek legal counsel and take necessary steps to recover their rightful payments. We will pursue all available remedies to hold Innkeeper and its Director accountable for their actions.
