Contract Breech. Concerned this is a common practice.
Although the initial contact was very pleasant. We came to an agreement on a price, which was paid. After the payment was made, they claimed a mistake and attempted to increase the price by 33%. Upon declining the increased cost, attitudes and service changed. They breeched the contract so I requested full reimbursement to include taxes paid but they are very flippant about it and expect me to handle the tax refund as it is not their problem. I am concerned they raise the prices on others who just go along with the increase.
