paid $5000 to go to greece with the company. i never would have gone if i could have anticipated the bullying, ableism, gaslighting, racism, and general lack of care i would come to find is a part of their company. i am a strict vegetarian and was served meat. all of the students witnessed a white company member say a slur, the n-word. the greek was taught horribly. i once fainted due to heat and then was told to rest: then i was publicly embarrassed for resting during a rehearsal. it’s painted as a fun time but only is if you are rich, white, skinny, able bodied, native greek speaker, without any learning disabilities or mental health struggles. trust me, if you do not meet these criteria, you will regret going on that trip. i still want my money back.
