Worst physician I've met in my LIFE

First off, his evaluation of me was only 10 minutes long maximum, and he makes bizarre/far-fetched accusations/ comments/ assessments. For example, he saw a pepper spray on my keychain and told me “you’re paranoid.” …. 20% of women carry pepper spray. He did not even bother to ask me why I carry pepper spray on my keychain, but instead jumped to the conclusion that I’m paranoid. I purchased that pepper spray on Amazon the day after I was followed to my car by a drugged out male customer after I closed and armed the pharmacy at CVS so that I could protect myself should it happen again. But I suppose there’s no danger in the world for women and I shouldn’t protect myself. During my appointment he asked to speak to my mother and while he didn’t tell her exactly what happened to me, it was close to a HIPAA violation. He said, “she told me about the thing that happened to her” (which was a sexual assault). I really don’t like that because I’m not under 18, and it’s pretty easy to think where my mom’s mind would go when you “think of the thing that happened” to your daughter. He then asked her a question about me to which my mother kindly replied, and her answer did not match what he was expecting and he told her she was being defensive. (I’ll admit, I’m personally an extremely defensive person, so I know defensive, however my mom is NOT at all, and this really peeved me off just because what he thought was wrong and didn’t match her answer, so suddenly my mother is defensive? She is so sweet.) He then told her “God be with you.” I don’t think you can mention God in a doctor’s office like that. Additionally, he wrote a script for Lamictal as “25mg twice a day #60.” I told him he needs to start at a frequency of one pill a day then titrate up until the desired daily dose is reached to avoid rash and SJS and he ignored my pharmaceutical expertise as if I was a layman and didn’t correct his script/error. If there’s one thing I respect less, it’s not taking ownership of your errors. Lastly, I was charged $375 for a 10 minute evaluation where he just came up with wild ideas and insulted me and he said, I quote: “Nobody is going to hire you like this.” A few weeks after my appointment, he and my therapist discussed me on the phone at lengths for an entire hour and more, but yet he was refusing to write a report which is literally the service I paid him for. A report that looks like it takes 20 minutes maximum to complete, and in addition to that he refused to return Brittany and I’s phone calls. So he discussed me six times longer than he even evaluated me for and wouldn’t provide the service I paid for, yet was willing to bad mouth me to my therapist for an hour+. He doesn’t accept insurance for addiction medicine treatment, however if he did, he would have committed insurance fraud. In my case, since I paid cash, it was theft.

In conclusion, it is with extreme prominence that the boards don’t approve of him in the future. He is highly unprofessional, disrespectful, and a thief. And quite honestly, not very sharp if you ask me.
