UNETHICAL BILLING AND CHARGING-The staff is courteous, no denying but the ethics of reasonable billing are totally lacking. Rs 10,000 was charged for a private room ( Room No 204) occupied from 11 PM on 07 March 2025 to 10 PM on 08 March. About 24 hours. The 'private room' was quite shabby and so was the bathroom. The towel provided was more of a discolored rag. Shameful indeed. What is even more despicable are the unreasonable charges levied under 'different heads'. Unethical , if I may add. After charging Rs10,000 for 'private room', another Rs 600 'admission charges'. Robbery?? Then Rs 2000 consultation charges and thereafter Rs 1000 for RMO (ward doctor) charges. Bravo! And then another Rs 1000 for nurse charges. Now add another Rs 1300 for some 'bio-medical waste'- whether it is a gulucose bottle or a cannulae! And then the best part. Rs 500 for 'diet' . NO DIET PROVIDED. Now add Rs 10,000 for lab and medicine charges. GASTRO-ENTRITIS was the problem!!!! I suggest this mail be put up to the governing body, owners of the facility, doctors, nurses and future patients for introspection.
