Foxlane homes Foxlane homes Reviews 10

Foxlane Homes isn’t who they claim to be. i...

Let me begin by stating my credentials. I served in the USN. Soon my discharge I attended trade school for HVAC/R. I work in the HVAC, electrical, and plumbing trades my whole career. In 2016 I moved to more of a stationary engineer position. Retiring a maintenance supervisor/lead building engineer in January of 24 due to metastatic prostate disease and a jacked up back & knee. We purchased our home at Highpoint at New Britain back in March of 24. Closed in December. From initial walkthrough before closing to now has been nothing but issues. I was told by sales at the start Foxlane Homes was different from the other builders. The cared and did things differently. This was reiterated by everyone at Foxlane I have come across from sales to supervisors. Actions speak louder than words. They are no different. From the piss poor way of supporting water mains and fire suppression systems. The HVAC contractor installed overflow pan in properly leaving condensation pump exposed. Secured flue pipe to my ductwork. Rather than using mastic on all duct joints they use a combination of tape and mastic. I don’t like placement of mechanical room. Front of home with flue penetration at back of house. Exactly what you get when you let architects handle design with assistance of a engineer. Got the upgraded electrical package. The basement fixtures are garbage. $17 at home depot. Used plastic box connectors rather then lock washers ones and put on outside of boxes in bedrooms. When I installed ceiling fans the wires were hanging free in boxes. Used mismatched electrical boxes. Bolt patterns were different when I was installing fan mounting brackets. Receptacle covers over tightened. Tiles cut in properly around receptacles in kitchen. Island receptacle installed wrong. Plugs won’t stay in. Undercounted microwave installed wrong and hits trim on pantry. Cabinet drawer hits wall. Bought paint to touch up after moving in. Checked with project manager about the paint. Wanted to get the exact paint. Doesn’t match at all. You can see every spot I fixed. We are very disappointed with our purchase. We spent damn near 650k on a lemon. The rush through the building process and this is is the crap they give you. These are above and beyond normal issues and I only listed the ones fresh in my mind. Foxlane needs to get off their high horse. They are no better than the rest. I look at things through different lenses than most. This is a warning.
