After being hit head on by a truck with four juveniles that were not only out after curfew, without an adult and driving way above the speed limit I needed an attorney due to the driver's parents ability to produce fictitious proof, intimidate the eyewitness so much she completely changed her statement and moved out of state, they wrote a letter to the prosecuting attorney that obviously was ment to bribe her with threats of many people watching how she dealt with this case which if not to their satisfaction they would take their votes elsewhere, they lied about me in this letter and on their Facebook group leaving their 3k followers hating on me not knowing that I died and had to be rescucitated after being cut out of my vehicle. I lost half of my blood because my foot went through the floor board and had to be reconstructed even though most of bones were crushed, I still can not walk because of my foot and my femur being broken so bad my leg is a couple of inches shorter. I was broken from my nose to my toes, one of the ER Drs putting in my report more than once that I was hit at a high rate of speed. While I was in a coma for 6 days, on a ventilator for 9 and in the hospital for almost a month I was being made out to be a monster by the parents. I had hired Ray Baxter to represent me but instead I got JR Baxter his son. When we got to court the parents had enough people to fill over half the courtroom. Not only was there no way I was going to get a fair trial but they had already decided the outcome, amended one of the charges which allows them to bring it back up which I only found that out by looking my case up on court connect. JR told me as I sat in my wheelchair waiting to go in to the courtroom that I was just going to plea guilty and I could appeal it later that way I wouldn't go to jail!!
I am 62yrs old and had to sit in this room with all these people. I sat alone while I was found guilty, given a fine to pay monthly and sentenced to 30 days in jail but suspended because I was confined to a wheelchair.
If I had a chance to do it over I would never choose Ray Baxter or his son JR Baxter.
I am innocent of causing the wreck but I now have to live in constant pain from the injuries and the outcome of the inability of my attorney to treat my life with any importance. I feel like his father, Ray Baxter, knew of JR's incompetency which is very unethical to give him my case when I had only talked to Ray.
I have proof of everything I have said in case I need to prove anything.
