BEWARE! These crooks have been defrauding lenders and consumers for decades. Previously The NY Kar Store, these guys have been engaged in a host of misrepresentations and fraud. Sale of totaled/salvaged vehicles undisclosed to consumers and lenders and sold at market value for their benefit alone. There are many reputable dealers who are in the business to make money sure...however they value their brand and reputation and will generally try and earn repeat business--NOT THESE GUYS. These guys are solely out to generate more profit on each deal knowing they won't have repeat business because as other reviewers have mentioned that post sale the dealer is dis-interested in resolving any issues that they had prior knowledge of and that they failed to disclose to the buyers.
Some consumers who may have challenges securing financing might end up at a dealership like The PA Kar Store because other reputable dealer's refuse to compromise and actually commit criminal acts to get a deal done. What those customer's need to know is that when a dealer is able to get you approved for a vehicle after you have been turned down by numerous other dealers and lenders, is almost always because the dealer is committing fraud and consumers are co-conspirators in that fraud. They will incentivize consumers with good credit to purchase vehicles for those without--sometimes with or without a relationship between the two. They will misrepresent a trade on a contract or a phantom trade to conceal a straw purchase or when a lender wont qualify a borrower for a second auto. They will misrepresent and inflate your income on the credit application and have consumers sign which is a crime in every state. Making these misrepresentations on a credit application and submitting to a bank or credit union who is federally regulated and insured is a federal crime and constitutes bank fraud and is a felony in most cases.
There are too many reputable new and used car dealers in PA and the surrounding areas and no need to use shady, dishonest, greedy crooks like The PA Kar Store. And no, I'm not a pissed off customer that was defrauded by these crooks, I'm a lender who has investigated their shenanigans for decades and knows countless consumers and lenders who have, including our Bank. STAY AWAY!
