Disappointing and Unaccountable
We recently purchased a home in Calgary and had Bravo Property Services do the home inspection. He seemed very thorough and the report he sent was easy to read and overwhelmingly informative. We had hired a furnace cleaner for the week we moved in, and upon inspection, all 5 heat exchangers were cracked. This was not noted in the report, and when we asked about it, we were told that the inspection is not invasive and there would be no way for him to know this. Despite showing a camera on his website, apparently he does not have the right equipment. 1 week later, there was a rainstorm and we had a leak come into our bedroom and kitchen. We called a roofing company and there was an obvious hole in the roof. This was not mentioned in the inspection report. There was also visible water damage when we moved in clearly linked to the roof and this was also not noted on the report. He told the realtor he doesnt have insurance to go on the roof of a house...huh? As he only used a drone and say nothing. The roofer noted that it was so blatantly obvious when he went on the roof that it was 'impossible to miss'. When pushed about this clear error, he deflected and refused to take ownership of it despite giving us lip service that he wanted to do right by us. HIRE THIS COMPANY AT YOUR OWN RISK. They provide you so much information making you think they are thorough, it is all a distraction so you do not notice the things they missed.
