Internet Buyers Beware!!! Do Not Buy From Brinkley Auctions Via the Internet
I purchased 2 tractors this year from Brinkley Auctions.
The first was a Kubota M7040 Lot # 9843 purchased on March 14th. When transport delivered, it had no coolant and the oil was milky. I had to replace radiator (bottom tank cracked) and the cylinder head gasket before it was usable. I called Brinkley and they refunded my buyers premium which of course did not cover cost of repair. But at least I was happy with their acknowledgement.
I thought this was just an anomaly until I purchased the latest tractor a Kubota M5400 Lot # 6374 on July 18th sold per auctioneer "a good running tractor". When transport delivered a week later I started engine to offload, it had a loud engine knock and major blow by. I called Brinkley and BreeAnn the owner said too bad you bought the tractor. I filed a complaint with Equipment facts and when they contacted Brinkley they were told I was a difficult buyer. Anyhow I disassembled engine and it needs 3 cylinders sleeved and 4 pistons replaced. Basically a complete engine rebuild before I can use tractor. I have purchased equipment via Auction Time and Equipment Facts for years and never had an issue until these latest purchases from Brinkley. I've purchased from Brinkley in the past with no issues. But things have changed with Brinkley. Bottom line is if you buy from Brinkley Auctions do it on-site. Do not buy from them via the internet you will get burned by their dishonest advertising.
