I can now give Dr Scotts practice 3 stars where as if I had of written a review many years prior, under 1 star would have been applicable and for the following reasons;
. The reception staff were rude, judgemental, gossiping and clicky. I had the displeasure of having to overhear one of the reception staff gossip about me while in the practice and was informed by a previous receptionist that she was treated poorly by her co workers which explained her disgruntled attitude.
. Dr Scott and some of his former colleagues misdiagnosed me and undiagnosed a condition that I later found out to be encephalopathy. I recall at one stage that Dr Scott himself actually turned to his medical journal in order to locate the name of a particular medication as his memory recall was not up to scratch. Don't ever put your full faith in GP's and this just goes to prove that just because someone has a credential next to their name does not necessarily mean they are perfect within their role.
. A family member of mine was put on a medication that caused more harm then good and was then informed to loose weight. This later turned out to be bowel cancer and if it wasn't for a specialist, this family member would have died at the hands of two former G.P's at this practice.
