Forgot cleanup up after large event hosting hundreds
They had a Centennial Gala at our large venue to celebrate 100 years of the Seattle Junior League.
Prior to event rental, expectations are laid out on cleanup of the event space, as well as written in the event space contract.
The event space & all decorations, auction items, SWAG, etc, were to be removed directly after the event that night.
All items were still in the event space the next morning, nothing had been removed or cleaned up as agreed upon rental/in the contract.
When we called the Junior League representative, we were informed that they had a large team of Junior League members scheduled to clean up the evening before, but unbeknownst to them, not a one had shown up.
They had to scramble to locate people to clean up from an event that had hosted hundreds, and we had to scramble because another event was scheduled for that event space.
Cleanup after an event is a rudimentary task, someone should have ensured it had been completed.
A disorganized & unprofessional organization.
